Bonham State Park

This past weekend was the start of a three weekend camping streak. We went to Bonham State Park with 2 other families. There was a heavy storm Friday night and  a small leak in the tent, but that is only to be expected with high winds and continuous rain for over 3 hours. Saturday was a bit muddy and windy still, but fun was had by all. Hayley was even able to visit with Dyson and Dalton.

A great area for the kids to play.

One of our neighbors was camping with these two beautiful ladies.

Silly boy.

Evening fog over a calm lake.

Patrick liked climbing the walls around the park office.

Alison used them to pose.

Sunset on the lake.

We were going to rent canoes on Saturday, but it was too windy. We will be going back for that next time.

Alison and baby Dalton.

Hiking stick, hobby horse, what ever works.

Odds and Ends

Tulips and Gerber Daisies are my favorite flowers in the world. These Tulips are on my patio right now.
The Tulips will be dying off soon. The next big thing in my flower beds will be these wonderful Asiatic Lilies. They have a bit to go yet.
Dyson and Dalton.
Alison and her Girl Scout Troop went to greet the soldiers returning from Iraq.
Sunrise through the basketball goal.

Zhu Zhu pets were a huge hit.
We only dyed 6 eggs, nobody here will actually eat them.
