Playdate at a friends house

We were lucky enough to go visit a friend who not only had a swimming pool, but tons of super cool boy toys. The kids had a blast and I got to visit with other moms while the kids entertained themselves. We had a great lunch of Spaghetti and then spent the rest of the time out doors. Dyson and Owen even got to go off the diving board for the first time.

Dyson was wiped out from all of that swimming.

More VBS

We had a few friends join us at VBS last night. I was working in the nursery again, but I was able to snap a few pictures of the kids and our friends.

Haircolor and Vacation Bible School

Our church has vacation bible school going on this week and the theme is Power Lab. We are having fun thinking of ways to dress up like scientists and to just act silly. The kids picked out wacky colors to spray on their hair, and I decided to dye the ends of my hair to go along. I was trying to get a navy blue, but it turned out just a bit green. Patrick and Hayden were a huge help though.

Hayden helped me paint on the dye and Patrick was the photographer. Heather stopped by and we even let her poodle Rosie dress up for the occasion.

Park of the Week: Haggard Park

I am behind on my updates this week. We are still busy busy, but with Vacation Bible School each evening I have not had time to edit photos and post to the blog.

Earlier this week we went out in search of a new park to try. We found Haggard park, close to the rail station, and a source of endless amusement for Dyson. There was an awesome playground, shade trees, a pond, pogoda, a time capsule and an old train car. As always I took tons of pictures.
