The Pumpkin Patch

After school Amanda and I packed up the kids and the costumes to head out to the pumpkin patch. We found a church in Frisco that had pumpkins, hayrides and a maze. We were hoping to get out before the rain hit again. We were lucky enough to get out and back again before the rain started back up.

First Grade - Pumpkin Math

Today I was able to volunteer in Alison's First Grade math class. It definitely got me in the Halloween spirit. I can not think of anything scarier than 20 first graders with carving tools sharing pumpkins.

I had 5 kids at my table and only 4 pumpkins. It was messy but tons of fun, I think each of the 3 classes ended up with 15 pumpkins to be donated to the neighborhood retirement center.

Cub Scout Fall Campout 2009

The Camp Out was a success. We were able to go all weekend with awesome weather and NO Rain! This was our first time camping with our new pack. There were 40 families covering 20 sites at Eisenhower State Park. I went up early Friday morning to secure 20 sites close together. After setting up our camp, Roxie and I got to hang out and wait for everyone to get there.

The Ranger was awesome with the boys, he brought dead snakes to show them. He also talked about all of the animals in the park.

American Girl Fashion Show

After camping all weekend with the cubscouts, Alison got to come home and do something girly. Alison got to participate in the American Girl Fashion Show for the Junior League of Plano. She has already asked to do it again next year.
