Alison had some birthday money along with a bit that she saved up. Since Patrick was out of town she wanted to go shopping. We went to Charming Charlie which is a cute little store of millions of accessories all sorted by color. We walked up and down the store, Ali had so many choices. First she looked at lockets, then bracelets and then rings. I was very surprised when she decided to buy a pair of Reading Glasses with a matching purple glasses case. I made her get the weakest strength that was available and she wore those silly glasses all day long.
Window Shopping.
After Charming Charlie we went to Christina's Flowers and Lowes to pick out small plants to build a fairy garden. Alison chose a pot and has collected beads and rocks to decorate it.
Patrick went camping with his troop this past weekend. They went to visit Inner Space Caverns. I was able to get pictures of Patrick leaving, but I had to rely on a family friend to grab a few pictures of Patrick while he was there. Thanks Mr. Pat.
Patrick has to be able to carry all of his own gear.
What a handsome group of boys.
Patrick had a wonderful time, he came home dirty and exhausted.
We found the first ones of the season. I was not planning on stopping today for pictures, but why pass on an opportunity. It was quite difficult to keep Dalton and Dyson corralled. We are definitely going to have to go back and try again later.
Just looking at these pictures make me sneeze, but what kid can resist a yard full of these puff balls. Dalton was not quite sure about blowing them, he did however try to take a bite of one. it was funny watching his face after that.
I am just glad the wind took all of those wishes away from my yard.
The kids were very excited to go see Grammie and Grampy. Patrick and Alison are at the best age ever to visit now. I do not have to follow them around constantly and there is tons for them to do outside. We took Dyson and Dalton with us. They required a bit more observation, but they also had tons of fun. We saw two of the baby calves. Belle was very pregnant, and we hoped that she would deliver while we were there. She did not.
