We were tent camping in the screened shelter area which was very nice. Since Patrick and Craig had to leave Saturday for a pack meeting and cake bake, I decided to make good use of one of the shelters. I set up our sleeping bags and mattresses inside straight on the concrete slab.
The park had a program about bird watching for the kids. Both kids have now requested real binoculars instead of kid ones and Patrick has asked for birding books from the library.
I am super excited that we found a group of girls for Alison that don't mind playing with bugs and getting dirty.
Found this sign on the farm to market road. We were almost at the park.
