Cub Scout Camping - Loyd Park

Weekend three of camping was definitely interesting. Craig flew to New York for a job interview on Thursday morning, so I did all of the packing and planning. Friday I packed what I could in the car and then took the kids to school and went to work at the church. At lunch I ran home to pack the ice chest and load the bikes. After school I ran to pick up the dog and kids. I have to say I enjoy dropping the kids off at school and heading out to camp first thing in the morning to this, but you do what you have to do.

Craig landed at DFW around 4, and met up with us at camp about 20 minutes after we got there.
There were great scout activities and tons of friends around for both Alison and Patrick. Craig was excited from his interview but quickly became tired and gave in to the cold he has been fighting off. Saturday morning I sent Craig and Roxie home to rest. After the weather change and the afternoon with the boys trying to start a campfire it became evident that Patrick was going to have issues with his asthma.

We made it through the night, but I was up at 6 on Sunday to pack up and head home. We are staying close to the nebulizer and exhausted. All around it was a great weekend.
