Craig and I have differences of opinion on how many furry animals should reside in the house. This week I happened upon a baby squirrel, in the middle of a busy road (not good) but also the focus of attention from a group of kids with sticks. In true Charba-Girl fashion, I stopped to pick it up. I remember nursing many baby animals with the aid of Dad, so this was a no brainer for me.
The kids got to help bottle feed it and hold it for pictures. They had visions of keeping it in the backyard, we named him Agent S.
Agent S now lives at the outdoor learning center, they will finish taking care of him while it is needed and then release him out on the trails behind the canter.
