Labor Day

We had a few friends over for Laborday this year. I had the camera out, but I did not end up with many pictures of my family. We spent the day hanging out and cooking with friends. The kids were all great and kept themselves entertained for the most part, the adults were able to hang out on the patio and visit.
Craig fried chicken wings and there was no shortage of appetizers for anyone. The weather was not unbearably hot and it will only get better as fall arrives.

Alison spent the morning cleaning her room and waiting for her friends to arrive.

Her princesses now have a new perch to watch over her desk and her homework.

Finally people start to arrive.

Our neighbor stopped by from across the street. She was happy to hold baby Carson, but she was not thrilled to pose for the camera.

Dean kept us all entertained with party tricks.Patrick was excited that some of the older boys would play football with him.

Kids and food, we found out later that this was the wrong place to set them up.
