Alison has her test today on Native Americans. She is a bit phobic about it, so she has been studying non stop. She asked Patrick to ask her questions from the study guide this morning after breakfast. Just about the time my heart was swelling with pride over how helpful Patrick was being, I hear this:
"Alison, look at this map. this shows England and the path that the Mayflower took. Right here in the middle of the Atlantic, two Pilgrims jumped off of the boat and died."
Obviously Patrick needs supervision while helping Ali study. It is too tempting to make up his own more interesting details.
