Pinewood Derby

One of Patrick's favorite things besides food and camping is Pinewood Derby. When else will he get to play with a saws, power tools, sandpaper and super glue. Today was our race. Craig was able to help with the cars before his trip, Patrick's weighed in at 5 ounces. Perfect! Alison's was over weight, so I had to edit it a bit at check in.

Instead of sleeping in this morning we had to be up at the church at 8. The races were fun but long. The car was not as fast as in years past, but he still loved watching. Alison's started off running great, but one of the back wheels started to wobble. She is already making plans on how to improve for next year.

Patrick got a trophy for Wicked Wheels! He is pleased to add another trophy to his growing collection.
